To get this registration, the following documents are usually
required:
- v Questionnaire form (Govt. publication) dully filled in and signed by the applicant.
- v Income Tax Registration Certificate as required under Import Policy.
- v Partnership deed in case of partnership concern, and certificate of registration with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Articles and Memorandum of Association in case of limited company.
- v Nationality certificate
- v Bank certificate
- v Ownership documents or rent receipts of the place of business
- v Trade license from the municipal or the local authority
- v Survey clearance from the relevant authority
- v Other documents prescribed in the import policy.
On receipt of the application along with stipulated
documents the C.C.I&E scrutinizes the documents and conducts physical
verification and on being satisfied requests the applicant/importer to furnish
the following paper along with the fees through their nominated bank:
- v Original copy of Treasury Challan being payment of registration fees
- v Original copy of challan for pass book
- v Other documents if any required by the C.C.I. & E.
